AGISTMENT FACILITIES AT WAYMERE STUD

Waymere Stud is located in the heart of Northern NSW (Halfway between Sydney and Brisbane)
The country is rich in natural pastures and gum trees for shelter

Suitable for overnight, short-stay, rehabilitation, mare foaling or longer-term residents.
Also individual paddocks 2.5-10 acres for your horse or run with some horsey friends.
Great laneway access for easy transfers, all fences electrified and large bore water troughs.
Only 13kms from Narrabri (7 minutes drive)

Full supervision with staff that have had extensive horse experience, both management, horse husbandry and problem solving

MARE & FOAL CARE AT WAYMERE STUD

With nearly 40 years of industry experience as a breeder Waymere Studs, founder Meredith Chapman oversees the studs mare and stallion breeding program, foal care and weaning program.
Waymere Stud is know as a prolific breeder of quality performance horses that focuses on the Australian Stock Horse - Quarter Horse Cross.
Waymere stud has the facilities for foal out your mare, care for your mare and foal and wean the foal when required.

HANDLING & SALE PREPARATION AT WAYMERE STUD

Waymere Stud takes great pride in producing a quality, trainable and 'stand-out' product. This commences from the time of weaning the foal, including its first handling and preparation, until it is lead through the sale ring or presented for sale.
Waymere Stud is a renownd breeder who has supported ASH, Thoroughbred (Magic Millions and Ingles sales) and Landmark sales since the studs inception in 1983.

Meredith has prepared sale horses for prolofic thorobred identies, such as Dr Geoff Chapman (Sydney), Mark Foyster (Sunshine Coast) and Helen Page (Sydney) and many more.

All of the methods and training applications have been tried and tested over the years and come from a widespread background in horsemanship. Training periods may vary to accomodate individual horse requriments, however foundation training methods remains the same. All youngsters are taught to lead, tie-up, self float-load, be aware of handlers space, flagging for desensitation and round-pen work including lunging.
